How to Upgrade to iOS 11.1.2 using Prometheus (Windows/Mac)?

3uTools wants to share good news with you all that Prometheus tool now are available for Windows uses. What’ more, it supports iOS devices running on iOS11, if you have saved the iOS 11.1.x shsh2, it is easy for you to upgrade your iPhone to iOS 11.

Preparations:

It only supports 64-bit iOS devices.

Download Prometheus tool for Mac

Download Prometheus tool for Windows

Prepare the iOS 11.1.2 shsh2

* Set the Nonce (Generator) value for your iOS devices.

* After that, you need to upgrade or flash your iOS device again.

Step 1: Download and unzip the Prometheus tool above, then download iOS 11.1.2 firmware.

Step2: Run Command Prompt (Win 10) or CMD (Win 7).

Step3: Enter the following command cd C:\futurerestore_v161_windows then press the Enter key, then save them into the Prometheus folder.

Step4: Continue to enter the following command, but you’re suggested to modify the file name first. Then copy and paste it to the Command Prompt.

* For iPhone/iPad with SIM, please take this as reference:

./futurerestore -t shsh2 (file name) --latest-baseband --latest-sep iOS 11.1.2.ipsw (file name)

* For iPad (wifi version without SIM card), please take this as reference:
./futurerestore -t shsh2 (file name) --no-baseband --latest-sep ipsw (file name)

* please rename your shsh2, ipsw file like this:
./futurerestore -t 8479717951014950_iPhone7,1_n51ap_11.1.2-15B202.shsh2 --latest-baseband --latest-sep iPhone_5.5_11.1.2_15B202_Restore.ipsw

Step5: Then the process will start, don’t close the window below. Otherwise, it may cause white Apple logo issue.

Step6: If your iOS device failed to execute instructions, then you can exit recovery mode from 3uTools safely.

Step7: You can unplug the USB cable when you see the reminder Done: restoring succeeded.

Step8: Then you just need to activate your iPhone.
